Growing up, I always thought I would become a rockstar. Unfortunately, I later discovered that singing ability is a key requirement for that career path… so please don’t book me as your wedding singer.

What I did realise, though, is that I love performing, especially when there’s a microphone in my hand and a crowd to connect with.

My journey to becoming a celebrant started when my best friend asked me to be part of her wedding ceremony. I originally did it just for her, but it quickly became something I absolutely loved. It turns out being a celebrant lets me do all my favourite things – speaking to a crowd, creating meaningful moments, and celebrating love.

The best part of the job is creating ceremonies that feel completely personal to each couple. As a wedding celebrant, my goal is to craft something that reflects who you are, leaves your guests smiling (and maybe tearing up a little), and sets the tone for an incredible celebration ahead.
